NELFUND: Tinubu Announces ₦104 Billion In Student Loans At FUT Minna Convocation

         President Bola Tinubu President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has revealed that over ₦104 billion in student loans has been disbursed to more than 600,000 tertiary institution students through NELFUND. Speaking at FUT Minna’s convocation, represented by Education Minister Dr. Morufu Olatunji Alausa, he reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to quality education, including a ₦940.5 billion allocation to TETFund in 2025. Tinubu urged graduates to embrace opportunities and contribute to national development while encouraging universities to collaborate with industries for practical research. Niger State Governor Umaru Bago and Senator Muhammad Sani Musa donated ₦100 million and ₦200 million, respectively, to an endowment fund. FUT Minna conferred honorary doctorate degrees on Bago, Kaduna Governor Uba Sani, and Senator Musa. A total of 5,816 students graduated in the 2023/2024 session.     FUT MINNA
